We are a team of innovative creative therapists working together to improve emotional well-being for children, young people and families.

We work throughout Cheshire and North Staffs and have a base in Cheshire East, near Crewe, for our larger animal work.

Meet our fantastic team of two-legged professionals!

First up is Helen and Sheli, our inspiring Directors!

Helen is a Play Therapist (BAPT), a compassionate Social Worker, and an expert Clinical Supervisor, specialising in Therapeutic Life Story Work. She is trained in Level 1 Animal Assisted Play Therapy®. She works with her lovely dogs Lucky and Sula and has a puppy Reggie to add to the pack. Helen is also our horse person and looks after Betty Boo and Nelly!

Sheli, brings her enthusiasm as a Play Therapist (PTUK), a dedicated Counsellor, Clinical Supervisor, and has trained in Animal Assisted Play Therapy® Levels 1 and 2. She's is also a Certified Professional Practitioner and Instructor of Animal Assisted Play Therapy® and currently studying an MSc in Animal Assisted Counselling and Psychotherapy! She works alongside her spaniel boys, Tuco and Ralf. She is late diagnosed ADHD and loves working in such a Neurodiverse affirming team :)

Meet the team...

Carly is a passionate Alternative Education SEND Teacher, specialising in Neurodiversity. She also has trained in Animal Assisted Play Therapy® at Levels 1 and 2.

Nicola, our supportive Social Worker, is trained in Level 1 Animal Assisted Play Therapy® and Heart to Heart family support interventions. She can be seen out and about with outreach work as well as in the office with her lovely spaniels Olive and Amber.

Kate, our Family Support Worker, also holds Level 1 in Animal Assisted Play Therapy® and Heart to Heart family support interventions. Kate works alongside her wonderful spaniel girls Lottie and Myla.

Steph, provides invaluable support in Alternative Education and is trained as Teaching Assistant, with many years of experience working in specialist education settings. She is also trained in Animal Assisted Play Therapy® Level 1. She is currently training her own dog Jesse as part of the team!

Vickie is also part of our tutor team, she has a wealth of experience teaching in different settings and is also our expert dog trainer and behaviourist!

Anne-Marie is qualified experienced counsellor working with Kate to deliver therapeutic group interventions in the local schools.
